Who runs it

Internal Linking Tools is operated by the team behind LinkStorm, an internal linking tool listed in this directory. We're saying that up front because it matters: we have an obvious interest in you picking LinkStorm, and you should read our "Editor's choice" label with that in mind.

What we can promise is that every tool here — ours included — is described from the same data, collected the same way. Where a competitor is cheaper, more automated, or a better fit for your platform, the tables say so.

Where the data comes from

• Pricing is taken from each vendor's own pricing page, not from third-party roundups (which we found to be wrong for several tools). Each profile shows the date its pricing was last verified.
• "From" price is the cheapest plan that actually includes internal linking — not the cheapest plan the vendor sells. For example, AIOSEO's Link Assistant only comes with Pro, so that's the price we show.
• Currency is the vendor's own. Rank Math and SEOJuice list in euros, Screaming Frog in pounds; we don't convert, because exchange rates would go stale faster than the prices.
• Automation level is our four-step classification: analysis only, suggestions, one-click insert, fully automated.
• Intro vs. renewal pricing: several WordPress plugins discount the first year heavily. Where we know the renewal price, it's in the plan table.

What we don't do

• No affiliate links. Outbound links go straight to the vendor.
• No paid placement. Listings can't be bought, and the "Editor's choice" label can't be either — it's ours, and it's disclosed.
• No star ratings. We don't have a defensible way to score 23 very different tools on one scale, so we tell you what each one is best for instead.

Adding or correcting a tool

Use the submission form for new tools, or email us about errors. We re-verify all pricing roughly every quarter.
